Gallery Wrap
Gallery Wraps are a stunning way to show off a very special image, an elegant way to decorate your home or office, and makes a gift anyone would cherish.
Bowers Photo offers both Photographic Canvas Gallery Wraps and Pearl or Velvet photographic paper Gallery Wraps with two depth options, and custom sizes between 8”x8” to 24”x36”. Gallery Wraps are complete and ready to hang on the wall the moment they are picked up.
Canvas Gallery Wraps are printed on Lustre Photographic Paper using a traditional time-honored canvas process. We print your image on Fuji Crystal Archive photographic paper to ensure the subtlety in tonal range and vibrancy of your original image. The photographic print is then laminated and the emulsion is stripped away from the paper base then the image is bonded to canvas using a vacuum press and finally wrapped around the wood frame or mounted to fiberboard for framing. Because the finished canvas is laminated, it is protected from scuffs, scratches, and cracking. The laminate also provides UV light protection.
Photographic Gallery Wraps are printed on specialty Fuji Photographic Papers. Pearl is a highly glossy paper that has a reflective layer behind the emulsion to give it an almost 3-D effect. This stunning paper is super saturated and produces vibrant colors that simply aren’t available with an inkjet print. Velvet is a deep matte paper with a totally flat-smooth texture. It is a low contrast even-toned paper that produces stunning results for subtle skin tones or wide-range tonal black and white or sepia prints. Both of these papers have a heavy RC coating that allows us to “bend” the paper around specially designed gallery wrap bars.
Extra space is needed all the way around the image for wrapping. For 1-1/2" Gallery Wraps add 2 extra inches on each side to your final image size. For 2-1/2" Gallery Wraps add 3 extra inches on each side.
